answer   Any language is welcome.Teachers with any language, not only English, can register. We introduce teachers with any language to students.

answer   Teachers living in Japan may want to teach face to face at a cafe or at one's home. TEACHER7 introduces students who want e- learning, so teachers living outside Japan can register. In giving e-learning , you use free IP phone such as skype or telephone, e-mail, chat.

Instructors can offer private lessons via the Internet by using a video call provided by TEACHER7. Instructors can charge their students a lesson fee by the minute. TEACHER7 will collect the lesson fee for instructors. In this case, a 20% commission is required.

answer   There are two ways for this.
One way is to contact students, meet them, give lessons and collect lesson fees from them. The other is to use the video call provided by TEACHER7.

answer   We introduce Japanese students but teachers living outside Japan can register since you can give e-learning using methods such as IP phone, cell telephone, e-mail, chat.

  5. You can inform students of the date you are available.
  6. You can save the names of students you are interested in about in Bookmark.
  7. By registering your conditions, you can get mail when students based on the conditions register.

question   What shall I do when I forget my password ?
answer   If you forget your password, we will reissue it. Enter your registered e-mail address below and click 'Confirm.' We will send a tentative password valid for 1 hour to your registered e-mail address.

answer   Yes, you can register several languages. Please register the languages you can teach in teacher registration.

question   I don't know what my identification is. Also, how do I send my identification to you ?
answer   For identification, please send your foreign resident card, driver's license, passport or other identification document.

You have several ways to send copy of your identification. For you, please select a convenient way.
  1. You take a picture of your identification with your mobile phone or digital camera, please send the picture and attach it to e-mail.
  2. You copy your identification, please fax.

Service Charge

question   Do you charge for teacher registration ?
answer   No charge for either teacher registration or student registration.

question   Tell me about the charge for introducing students.
answer   TEACHER7 doesn't charge when teachers ask for contact with a certain student. We charge JPY 500 when the student replies and contacts you. (We need to have the permission for disclosure of personal infomation from the student. Unless he agrees, there is no charge.)

Once you contact the student and get the reservation, there is no charge from then on, which means you can use message page or reservation record page for free. Also after teacher registration, if students want to take your lesson and approach from students' side, there is no charge to you.

question   Are we charged if we recruit our students ?
answer   You are charged JPY 500 yen when you yourselves recruit your students and have succeeded in exchanging e-mail addresses. You have to pay a deposit via PayPal in advance when you yourselves recruit your students and want to exchange e-mail addresses. No costs will be withdrawn from your deposit when you are not successful in exchanging e-mail addresses. Please deposit money from 'History' after login. After depositing money, you can recruit your students yourselves.

question   How can lesson fees and incentive fees be transferred ?
answer   Lesson fees and incentive fees can be transferred to your designated bank accounts via PayPal.

question   Is there any referral fee in my replying to the student when he contacts me first?
answer   There is no charge. Please reply to the student.

question   How can I pay the referral fee ?
answer   We will charge a referral fee of JPY 1000 to your credit card when the message and reservation is confirmed. Your card information is given us when you register your profile. Without it, you can't contact students or make reservation requests. But once payment is done, which is required by the teacher who has contacted the student and confirmed the lesson reservation, there will be no charge no matter how many times you contact the student or make lesson reservations.

question   How can I receive tuition fees from the student ?
answer   TEACHER7 isn't involved in receiving tuition fee from students. Please talk with your student and settle the payment method. He expects to pay the fee as you registered.

question   How can I find a student who meets my conditions ?
answer   You enter details of your conditions and the conditions you want from your student at TEACHER7. The conditions are about language, area, train or bus line, station, level, lesson preferance ,"face-to-face teaching" or "e-learning", gender, tuition fee, lesson place, age etc. You are sure to find the right student for you.

answer   You can send messages to the student by clicking "contact this student" on student page.

answer   Please send messages to the student from message list if you don't mind giving him your mail address.

answer   Please enter your conditions when you can't find students who meet yours. We will let you know by e-mail when a student whose conditions meets yours, registers.

answer   Please let us know when you don't get any reply from the student. We will check and see for you.

answer   Students make reservations on your profile page. We will let you know by e-mail when you get a reservation. Please check it on Mypage, Reservations and reply to the student to accept his request or turn it down.

  4. You can keep up the status of reservation or contact, lesson records, record of students' messages, memos on your students.
  5. You can enter the name of students who you deal with in Bookmark.
  6. By registering your conditions, you can get mail when students based on the conditions register.
  7. You can keep up the record of payment or affiliate.

answer   You can see the record of reservation control or contact in the past too. You can check and see .'Reservation List' for reservation control and 'Message List' for contact control in the past and present on Mypage.

answer   TEACHER7 doesn't give students the teachers' personal contact infomation except when students request to take your lesson. Teachers permit it on the contact request or teachers contact students.

answer   Lessons can be divided into two types. One is 'face-to-face teaching' For this, teachers need to be in Japan since the students are in Japan. question   What is an affiliate ?
answer   Affiliate is the service we provide to users who introduce new users, who can either be students or teachers. We pay some money as a rewards to users who introduce new users, when he registers and uses pay service

question   How can I participate in the affiliate program ?
answer   The person who introduces new users needs to have registered as a teacher. When you register as a teacher, we will give you introducer own URL and banner advertising on 'Purchase Record', Mypage When the new users register as students or teachers and use the pay service through this URL, 20% of introduce fee will be paid to the person who introduces them for two years.

  • You can offer online lessons regardless of place and time.
  • You can charge your students a lesson fee by the minute.
  • You can set your lesson fee by the minute.
  • You can offer lessons by chatting online as well as using images.
  • You can offer lessons to your students living in Japan even after you get back to your home country.
  • TEACHER7 will collect on-line lesson fees from students for you.
  • Instructors have to pay 20% of the lesson fee set by themselves as a commission to TEACHER7.

question   Do we have to install software to use a video call ?
answer   You don't have to install software for a video call. Everything is done via web browser, so you can use the system once you can access the Internet from any PC.

question   How should we contact students by using a video call ?
answer   Instructors are standing by with the video call button pressed down after logging into TEACHER7. After that, students will access the video call. Students are charged a lesson fee by the minute starting from 30 seconds after their access. Please stand by for a video call by the reserved time when your student has made a lesson reservation. Walk-in students may reach you without any reservations when you are standing by.
